Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
SECTION 2
Bookings
- A booking is confirmed only when we send you a booking confirmation by email or SMS.
- Bookings can be made online, by phone or email, through a corporate or hotel account, or through an authorised travel agent.
- You must give accurate details: passenger names and numbers, pickup and drop-off addresses, a contact phone number, luggage, and flight or cruise details.
- Check your confirmation and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
- All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.
SECTION 3
Fares and payment
- All fares are in Australian dollars and include GST and applicable government levies.
- The fare in your confirmation is fixed for the trip as booked. It changes only if you change the booking, or if extra charges under section 4 apply.
- Hourly hire has a two-hour minimum. Tolls and parking are charged in addition to hourly rates.
- Payment is by credit card at the time of booking, by bank transfer, or on invoice for approved corporate and hotel accounts.
- Account invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date. We may charge overdue amounts to the card on file and recover reasonable collection costs.
SECTION 4
Extra charges
These charges apply only when the situation arises. We will tell you about them before or at the time they apply wherever possible.
- Waiting beyond the free waiting time (section 5): $1.50 per minute
- Extra stop or route change you request: quoted at the time
- Extra or oversized luggage beyond the allowance: $10 per item
- Child restraint: $18 per seat
- Cleaning after soiling of the vehicle: from $150, plus damage at repair cost
SECTION 5
Pickups, waiting time and no-shows
- Airport arrivals: we track your flight and your pickup time moves with the actual landing time. Free waiting time is 60 minutes after landing for international flights and 30 minutes for domestic flights.
- All other pickups: please be ready at the booked time. Free waiting time is 10 minutes from the booked pickup time.
- After the free waiting time, waiting is charged as set out in section 4.
- No-shows: if you can’t be found at the pickup point and we can’t reach you on your contact number by the end of the free waiting time, the booking is treated as a no-show. The full fare is payable and the chauffeur may leave.
- If you can’t find your chauffeur, call us on 1300 855 955 before leaving the pickup point.
SECTION 6
Changes and cancellations
- Changes: you can ask to change a confirmed booking by contacting us. Changes depend on availability, and any fare difference may apply.
- Cancellations by you: confirmed bookings are non-refundable. If you tell us before the pickup time that you can’t travel, you can rebook and use the amount paid for a trip within 6 months of the original travel date.
- Cancellations by us: if we cancel your booking or can’t provide the service as booked, we will offer a full refund or another transfer of equal value, at your choice.
- This section does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
SECTION 7
Passengers and children
- Children under 16 must travel with a responsible adult.
- Every passenger must wear a seatbelt while the vehicle is moving.
- Child restraints must be requested when you book, with each child’s age. Where the law requires a restraint and none was booked, the chauffeur may be unable to carry the child and the full fare remains payable.
- Tell us when booking if any passenger uses a wheelchair or mobility aid, or needs extra help. Assistance animals are always welcome. Pets travel only by prior arrangement.
SECTION 8
Luggage
- Each passenger may bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage. Extra and oversized items must be declared at booking.
- Keep valuables such as cash, jewellery, passports and electronics with you.
- Dangerous goods, flammable items, explosives and weapons are not allowed.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss of or damage to luggage left unattended, items not declared at booking, or valuables placed in checked luggage.
SECTION 9
Conduct on board
- No smoking or vaping in our vehicles.
- Passengers must follow the chauffeur’s reasonable safety instructions.
- The chauffeur may refuse to carry, or end the trip for, any passenger who is intoxicated, abusive, violent or acting unlawfully. The fare is not refunded in this case.
- You are responsible for damage to the vehicle or soiling caused by anyone in your booking (section 4).
SECTION 10
Routes, travel times and lost property
- The chauffeur chooses the route based on safety and traffic conditions. Your fixed fare does not change with the route taken.
- Travel times on our website are estimates. Traffic, weather, road closures and events can cause delays. Allow enough time to check in for your flight or cruise.
- We keep items found in our vehicles for 30 days. Contact us to arrange collection, or delivery at a charge.
SECTION 11
Liability and insurance
- We provide our services with due care and skill.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a missed flight, connection or cruise caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Where the law allows our liability to be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or refunding the fare paid.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
- We recommend that all passengers have travel insurance for their trip.
SECTION 12
Complaints, accounts and privacy
